Testing
Axiom tests every cable after installation and termination to verify that a high quality connection has been established and completed. Our state-of-the-art Lantek 7G testers are capable of verifying systems we install today — as well as those we will be providing well into the future.

Documentation
Documentation encompasses both labeling and reporting activities and is a key component in Axiom’s quality control efforts.
Labeling
Axiom Solutions carefully labels all of our network installations in accordance with the ANSI/TIA/EIA-606-A Label Standard. Following this standard results in neat, attractive network installations and is a hallmark of quality in our industry.
| ANSI/TIA/EIA-606-A Label Standard calls for: |
| • | Labeling horizontal link cables as they are installed (precludes the need to fight through a thick bundle of cables at the back of the patch panel, and also prevents having to remove the faceplate a second time to pull enough cable through the wall to allow access to the cable for labeling). |
| • | Labeling to within 12 inches (300 mm) on either end of the cable both at the back of the patch panel and just behind the wall outlet plate at the work center. |
| • | Label must be mechanically generated, not handwritten. |
This industry standard promotes uniformity and thoroughness in documentation, so networks can be serviced, repaired and upgraded quickly and easily, saving you time, money and frustration in the future.
Reporting
Axiom Solutions maintains quality control reports on file for all of our network installations, available to clients at any time for certification, insurance or other recordkeeping needs. Detailed, high-quality test results can be generated through our Lantek interface and printed for your convenience, or stored at Axiom for future reference. We can also provide diagrams and “As Built” schematics detailing the work we have performed.
